About the park
Both dog parks at Demuth Park in Palm Springs are closed while the city rebuilds them. Construction started March 2, 2026, and the city has given targets of October 2026 and, more recently, November 1, 2026, but no reopening date has been posted yet. The $7.5 million project adds a permanent large dog park and a new small dog park, plus shade, restrooms and parking.
